 Easy Homemade Egg Nog Recipe 

Enjoy the holiday season with this healthier version of classic egg nog. It is creamy and delicious yet lighter in calories and great for the festive season.


Egg Nog


Ingredients 

  • 1½ cups egg substitute.
  • 2 tablespoons of Sweetener (Sweet & Low or Equal)
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract.
  • 2 cans skim evaporated milk.
  • 3 cups skim milk.
  • 1 tablespoon brandy (optional).
  • Nutmeg, for garnish.


Instructions 

  1. Whisk all ingredients in a big bowl until combined. Whisk together egg substitute, sweetener, and vanilla.
  2. Add Milk: Slowly mix in skim evaporated milk and skim milk until everything is well mixed and creamy.
  3. Add brandy if desired and mix thoroughly.
  4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2-4 hours or overnight. 
  5. Before serving, sprinkle each serving with fresh nutmeg.

Serves: 8-10.
