Grilled Taco Ribs Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 - 5 pound spareribs cut into serving-size pieces.
- 1 envelope French's Taco Seasoning Mix.
- 1 cup tomato juice.
- ¼ cup cider vinegar.
- Brown sugar: ¼ cup, firmly packed
- 1 teaspoon French's Celery Seed.
Instructions
- Put spareribs in a big pan. Add enough water to cover ribs completely. Cover the pan and reduce to a simmer for 35–45 minutes or until the ribs are almost tender.
- To prepare the taco sauce, mix taco seasoning mix, tomato juice, cider vinegar, brown sugar, and celery seed in a bowl. Stir well until sugar dissolves.
- Remove ribs from the pot. Put ribs on a grill set over medium-hot coals. Generously brush ribs with taco sauce mixture.
- Grill and glaze the ribs for 15 to 20 minutes, turning and brushing them with sauce often, until the ribs are tender, and the glaze turns golden brown.
- Take the ribs off the grill, let them rest, then serve warm.
